The Transformation of Societies Series explores how governments can better understand the challenges, opportunities and limitations involved in improving the quality of life of their citizens. By providing examples of how Commonwealth members have responded to the challenge of transforming their societies, the series seeks to maximise and share the wealth of knowledge and experience regarding social, economic and political transformation so as to help improve the prospects of achieving societal transformation for all.
