WTO Fisheries Subsidies Negotiations

A Time to Remain Vigilant

At the 11th World Trade Organization Ministerial Conference in Buenos Aires in 2017, ministers agreed to secure an agreement on disciplines on fisheries subsidies. In June 2020, the Chair of the Negotiating Group on Rules issued a draft consolidated text.
