The Report of the Commonwealth Expert Team for The Gambia Presidential Election, held on 24 November 2011. The Group was led by Professor Bolaji Akinyemi, former Foreign Affairs Minister of Nigeria, and was comprised of five experts in total.



Voting, Counting and Results

The Gambia’s 2011 presidential election took place on 24 November 2011 following an eleven-day campaign period. For the purpose of voting, 1,302 polling stations were established across the country’s seven regions and 48 constituencies.
