Localizing Legal Literature: Conclusions and Future Directions
The Toronto seminar out of which this volume has emerged took place at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University on November 3rd-5th, 1978. It was attended by nineteen people, who between them could claim substantial first-hand experience of the problems of legal literature in over forty jurisdictions. The participants were academic and practising lawyers (including one former judge), law librarians, government lawyers, including two parliamentary draftsmen and two specialist law reporters, a sociologist and a publisher.
