Legal Publishing in Papua New Guinea: Severing the Colonial Link

It is the purpose of this article to examine the effectiveness of communication of the law to the people of Papua New Guinea through the device of law publishing. The primary emphasis, as in any discussion of law publishing, will be on the written form, by which law reports, statutes, and law texts are produced by established law publishers. However, a critical analysis of law publishing needs to have an ambit which includes other media - such as the radio, film and computer.
