Current Developments

The Science Education Project in Africa (SEPA) which began life as the African Primary Science Project (APSP) uses common materials from home and surroundings with which to teach. There are some thirty teachers’ guides with titles like ‘Chicks in the Classroom’, ‘Common Substances Around the Home’ and ‘Playground Equipment’. This latter is a delightful example of the use of cheap equipment on a large scale.
