National Copyright Laws

As most countries belong to the Berne Union, the UCC, or to both, there is a large measure of harmonisation amongst the copyright laws of member countries. Nevertheless considerable differences in legislative provision, judicial interpretation or accepted industry practice exist. It is possible to determine precisely what rights of copyright exist in a given country only by referring to the copyright law and practice of that country.
