The study included contact with two of the regional examining bodies: a visit was made by a staff member of the Commonwealth Secretariat to the East African Examinations Council office in Nairobi, and information was obtained from the London office of the West African Examinations Council, including access to the Annual Report for the year ending 31 March 1978, and to some of the technical syllabuses.
